The Kitchener Brides' Ball event took place February 23rd, 2008 at Bingemans in the Embassy Room. Mary from Do It In Style, the team at Ultimate Affairs and staff at The Ring converged on the hall early in the day to make it look beautiful. A tuxedo lounge was set up by Brentwood Livery for the guys (who surprisingly, opted to spend most of the night with their soul mates instead, taking them for a storybook style spin across the dance floor).
Merv Keyes of Magic Tunes conducted the music for the Ball while KoolFM Emcee'd for us. Bingemans catered the meal , cocktails and ran the bar. A tiara shop became the popular first stop for those coming in through the doors in their wedding and formal attire. A photo booth was set up so that couples and tables of friends could get their photo taken, with proceeds to the cause. Emma Smallbone of barebonephoto covered the event for us, capturing some of the night's favourite moments. You can see her images throughout this website, the video and on this page.
MatriMovie offered video coverage and editing of The Kitchener Brides' Ball. You can view the video of the night on RingTV by clicking here...
One hundred tickets were sold, and an event of cocktails, raffles, giveaways, entertainment and dancing set the precident for future events to come. A huge thanks goes out to everyone who helped out, sponsored and/or participated in the Kitchener Brides' Ball.
