The vision of The Brides' Ball is to use the power of numbers to make a significant impact on causes that touch the hearts of so many women and their friends and families. If we can raise thousands of dollars with one event in one city, what can we do with dozens? Or hundreds?
The Brides' Ball team at The Wedding Ring hopes to see our vision come to reality by partnering with the right savvy, professional, energetic women and companies across the globe who will host fun, fabulous and, most importantly, successful events. Event Director, Anne Warren, and myself, both hope that you're one of these people.
The Brides' Ball has received just over 100 inquiries from across the globe (Tazmania, Liverpool, London, Texas, North Carolina, Toronto, Barrie, Indianapolis, Ottawa and more). This overwhelming response was more than expected and it shows the power that people have to make a difference. That's also why it's taken longer than expected to arrange the details that would best put these great people and communities to the best possible use and design the first world-wide Brides' Ball events campaign to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and women-related causes.

Update April 9, 2010 by Jenn @ The Ball & The Ring I'm currently working with planners and wedding industry gurus to present Brides' Ball events in dozens of cities! Let's make 2010 and 2011 banner years in the plight to show what girls in tiaras can accomplish when they're on a mission to make a difference! The requirements to host a Brides' Ball event include: - experience in the wedding industry - fundraising (in person and by phone) and volunteer management experience - computer & internet connection - ability to stay on top of details, volunteers, sponsors and vendors - an ultra savvy ability to swing a fab deal with the local radio station for plenty of promotions for next to nothing (or an equally effective alternative) - the ability to handle a million details and pull it off without a hitch - a great connection with a venue and/or catering that will significantly decrease the cost of the event - be ready and excited to hit the streets raising money, selling tickets, getting sponsors, and collecting online auction items * If you've contacted us about hosting a Ball and haven't heard back, please try again -

. With the overwhelming response, we'd hate to have missed your inquiry! * In order to make a very real difference to the lives of those who need it, every Brides' Ball event host is required to raise a minimum of $1000 for the charity they've chosen
